Rena Thomas

Rena Thomas is the Senior Program Manager at QPI Healthcare Services LLC. She is highly driven by client satisfaction and provides solutions to healthcare providers for their compliance needs.

With more than 11 years in banking as a head teller, customer service representative and wealth management liaison, she understands the importance of local, state and federal laws and regulations. Throughout her career, Rena’s comprehension of laws and regulations transitioned into the healthcare industry and led her to work for a Nursing and Rehab Center.

During her time at the Nursing and Rehab Center, Rena put her banking knowledge to use as the Office and Billing Coordinator. She also became familiar with a new set of laws, regulations, and accreditation standards. Combining compliance, maintaining coverage for patients, and ensuring eligibility allowed for insight into healthcare provider success.

Considering the evolution of healthcare, Rena believes education is key. She subscribes to updates and additions to laws, regulations, and standards and communicates her findings to QPI’s Program Managers and Program Coordinators, as well as to healthcare providers. Furthering her education, Rena also has an associate degree in Healthcare Administration.

When she is not working, Rena enjoys spending time with her family. She loves the outdoors, camping, and traveling. She aspires to travel to Italy for food and to Ireland for scenery. Rena can be reached at RenaT@qpihcs.org..
