Wanda Ulysse is the Quality Measure Director at QPI Healthcare Services LLC. As a Senior Biller and Coder for a local Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Clinic, she brings to the team an unparalleled expertise in proper and effective billing and coding.
Wanda’s healthcare career began in 1996. Throughout the years, she has gained ground-level experience at local hospitals and clinics. She’s worked with a wide range of healthcare providers such as Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Gastroenterology, Primary Care and Urology.
Recognizing the heavy burden that billing can often take on patients, Wanda acknowledges frustrations, empathizes with patients and seeks professional solutions to bridge every potential gap in care with the patient and their healthcare provider. Working together, administratively, with healthcare providers and their patients, she offers a “full circle,” well-rounded insight that truly embodies patient-centered care.
As a patient advocate, Wanda believes that knowledge is power. She is always learning something new as the healthcare industry continually evolves. She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) and Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA). Wanda is a trusted advisory board member for medical billing and coding for a local college. She is also a notary public.
Knowing her healthcare providers and their patients, understanding their needs, and implementing a trusted relationship with healthcare providers has allowed Wanda to oversee a 14-location Clinic Group, supervise a team of Billers and Coders and expand her HEDIS and Billing and Coding knowledge into other specialties such as Behavioral Health, Ophthalmology, Infection Control and Managed Care.
